A new version of my film some cities - on 16mm - premieres tonight at TIFF Wavelengths as part of Appetite for Destruction, a wonderful program including works by Michael Robison, Fern Silva, Jodie Mack, Dane Komljen, and Sky Hopinka.

Translation#6: Shuang Shuang Yan (2008) was included in Reassembly, a exhibition curated by the wonderful Petros Touloudis and G. Douglas Barrett on the island of Tinos, Greece. Here's an excerpt of the video.

Some Cities, my new super8 film, is screening tonight at the8fest in Toronto as part of of program of ten films commissioned to celebrate the 10 years of this lovely festival. Excited to be part of the celebrations!

In November, I collaborated with the incomparable Margaret Dragu on one of the duet in Public Recording's Capitalist Duets, which we performed at the Theatre Centre in Toronto at the end of the month

He Said It. Monologue, a 1915 play by Gertrude Stein, was part of Hatch12 at Harbourfront Centre. Performed by François Macdonald and Zachary Murphy. Set by Marcin Kedzior. Alessandra Novaga's stunning new pink vinyl Movimenti Lunari just arrived in the mail! One side of it contains Alessandra's beautiful rendition of my photo score Untitled, January. The other side is dedicated to Sandro Mussida's In Memoria.

I performed Two Seen, One Unseeing, a collaborative piece with Robert Luzar at Katzmann Contemporary in Toronto. The piece was part of Duration & Dialogue, curated by Natasha Bailey, Dario Del Degan, and Johannes Zits.

A new video of mine will screen at the Echo Park Film Center in LA on November 19 as part of a program curated by the wonderful Leslie Supnet.

Over the month of August I've been dancing (sort of) in Robert Kingsbury's Forgetting Remembering at Summerworks in Toronto

I almost learned Yvonne Rainer's Trio A, and rehearsed it in front of audiences at the Art Gallery of Ontario and Gallery TPW with a bunch of other non dancers and dancers. This was part of Fado's Transmitting Trio A

On October 4 I directed and performed a shadow show for Tony Conrad and Jennifer Walshe's The Signing at Toronto's Nuit Blanche. The indomitable Marcin Kedzior and Robert Kingsbury performed with me in the gusting wind.
