A new super8 film I shot with Clint Enns is screening tonight at the 8fest in Toronto. It is called, somewhat confusingly, I II III IIII IIIII I III III IIII and it's based on my realization of Mark So's score ascending emptiness of the afternoon (You have built a mountain of something)

In November 2012 I began a collaboration with Italian literary website FN. My section, a collection of experimental meditation scores, is called Esercizi.

Film 9: Cronaca di un amore

On August 2 Hurla Janus (Elio Marchesini, Alessandra Novaga, Sandro Mussida) and Elena Russo Arman performed a realization of Film (Film 9: Cronaca di un Amore) at the Incubator Arts Project in New York City.

Film 8: Lola

On June 15 Elena Russo Arman and Lorenzo Fontana performed a realization of Film (Film 8: Lola) at Fondazione Mudima in Milan.

Short Sentences 1993-2005 in Los Angeles

On April 12 Short Sentences 1993-2005 (2005) was screened at the Echo Park Film Center in LA, along with a bunch of the original camera rolls, as part of Fragments of Everyday Life: Films by Janis Crystal Lipzin & Francesco Gagliardi, curated by Dicky Bahto.
