Film: Rope

In April 2013 my piece Film: Rope premiered at the Images Festival in Toronto. Film: Rope was produced by FADO and it was performed by Michael Caldwell, Marcin Kedzior, Cara Spooner, and myself. Here's a link to Andrew James Paterson's essay on the project. I wrote a bunch of text scores for Eugenio Salas' YYZGRU project, presented in January 2013 in São Paulo as part of the Hemispheric Institute Encuentro 2013

In November 2012 I began a collaboration with Italian literary website FN. My section, a collection of experimental meditation scores, is called Esercizi.

Film 9: Cronaca di un amore

On August 2 Hurla Janus (Elio Marchesini, Alessandra Novaga, Sandro Mussida) and Elena Russo Arman performed a realization of Film (Film 9: Cronaca di un Amore) at the Incubator Arts Project in New York City.

On July 27 Alessandra Novaga performed this wonderful realization of Untilted. January at Willow Place Auditorium in Brooklyn as part of Transient Series, curated by Andrew Christopher Smith.

On June 15 Elena Russo Arman and Lorenzo Fontana performed a realization of Film (Film 8: Lola) at Fondazione Mudima in Milan.

Short Sentences 1993-2005 in Los Angeles

On April 12 Short Sentences 1993-2005 (2005) was screened at the Echo Park Film Center in LA, along with a bunch of the original camera rolls, as part of Fragments of Everyday Life: Films by Janis Crystal Lipzin & Francesco Gagliardi, curated by Dicky Bahto.
